A recital performed on Truro Cathedral’s magnificent Father Willis organ by Roger Sayer of Interstellar promises to be a unique and exciting evening alongside the stunning backdrop of the red planet.
Roger Sayer is the original Interstellar organist. His 2014 collaboration with Hans Zimmer resulted in one of the most iconic soundtracks in movie history.
Since then, Roger has performed his unique Interstellar event to sell-out audiences across the world, bringing the film’s magical and mesmerising soundtrack to life from the original organ score. The event is an opportunity to hear first-hand his experiences working with Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan, and the challenges of creating this six-organ epic.
This event also gives you the chance to enjoy the full illumination effect of Mars in the darker, after-hours setting of the cathedral.
